Over the years flats boats have changed from the original flat bottom scooters. Here at Mowdy Boats we make a wide range of high performance, shallow water boats. All of our boats have hulls that are solid foam filled and completely unsinkable. With the low sides it is also impossible to swamp a Mowdy Boat. Fishing boats have come a long way over the past years and at Mowdy Boats we try to stay in front of the pack.

The C-25 is a 25’9” long 8’6” wide modified split-V cat hull. The C-25 requires an outboard motor between 150 and 300 horsepower. The C-25 handles rough water extremely well and has a very dry ride. The boat is very stable in the water and has an incredible amount of deck space. The C-25 runs easy in the water. The boat without a t-top runs 48 mph with a 200 hp Yamaha. The C-25 with a t-top and decked out will run 46 mph with a 225 hp Yamaha. The C-25 will run on a plane in around 8-9", drift in 9-10 and take off in 14-15 with a hard sand bottom. With the C-25 you can fish the flats, bays, surf and off shore.

Our V-22 is a 22’9” long 7’8” wide V-bottom boat with a tunnel. The V-22 requires an outboard motor between 115 and 200 H.P., most people have a 115 to a 175. This boat handles rough water extremely well and has a very dry ride. The V-22 runs very shallow ( draft is approximately 8”; take off is approximately 13” with a hard bottom. Planing depth is approximately 8” without hitting bottom ). With the V-22 you can fish the flats, the bays, the surf, and even off shore.

The all new T-16 is a 16' long 8' wide boat with a modified racing tunnel hull with a vented step tunnel for shallow running without losing speed. The T-16 requires a 60-90 H.P. motor. The T-16 is a fast and efficient boat, with a 90 Evinrude E-Tech it will run in the mid 40's and gets around 5-8 MPG depending on how you drive. The boat handles very well for a small boat (better than most 18' boats) and runs very shallow ( draft is approximately 7", take off is approximately 12" with a hard sand bottom, and planing depth is approximately 6").
